Horses
I always loved horses. Pursuing a life-long dream to work with these special animals, I was privileged to qualify as a horse master at Mooikrans Equus, South Africa, a few years ago.
Currently I am involved with therapy riding in New Zealand for children and adults who can benefit from horse interaction whilst I study further to become a coach. It is wonderful to work with horses and amazing people several times a week!
These ideals, studies, and experiences form the basis of my long-term project: Horses in War and Peace.
Cowboy
A personal study piece, more about pursuing inner horses rather than real ones.
With appreciation to my husband who acted as body model for me, as in so many other works as well.

Southern African Wildlife, Landscapes & Portraits
Numerous trips through southern Africa and as far north as Lake Tanganyika during my formative years left a deep impression on me. These memories inspired earlier landscapes, wildlife studies, and contextual portraits.
